Hello and welcome to my little corner of the net. First of all, the quote above is by Drew Barrymore as Karen Pomeroy in Donnie Darko. I'm not sure who the famous linguist that she's talking about is, but I do know that J.R.R. Tolkien made a similar comment about the word CellarDoor, I just thought the quote from the movie sounded much better than Tolkien's quote about the word. |
